I've opened up comments for the first time on the Aduki site as this is a topic I'd be interested to get people's thoughts and feedback on this topic...
I gave up meat eating for environmental reasons, personally I have no problem with my place in the food chain, but I do have a problem with modern farming methods and I don't have the guts or inclination to kill an animal myself, so it seemed the only clear option to me.

I know very little about hairdressing, I've been cutting my own hair for the best part of a decade, but it seems that it's not only been music venue owners feeling the heavy shoulder of Victorian licensing bodies leaning on them recently, so have hairdressers...

As an avid crafter I was delighted to read about the work of Little Hen Rescue in caring for and rehousing ex battery hens, and supplying them with jumpers. Some factory and battery hens lose their feather due to stress or being housed in a darkened area. The little jumpers keep them warm until their feathers grow back.
