Last years inaugural aduki awards were so much fun that weve decided its
time to do it all again.The categories are pretty much the same, with one change. Best website or blog
has been replaced with Favourite vegan fashion wear. This could be a designer
in general or a specific item of clothing, shoes or accessories.
There are ten categories open for nomination this year are:
1. Best Aussie veg restaurant*
2. Australias
most vegan-friendly city
3. Best vegan beer
4. Best vegan wine
5. Best mock meat dish or product
6. Best dairy substitute product
7. Best vegan dessert dish or product
8. Best vegan chocolate
9. Favourite Aussie vegan business
10. Favourite vegan fashion wear
*vegetarian
or vegan restaurant, but must be vegan-friendly
Please note that nominated products must be available for purchase in Australia. To
nominate your favourite product or business in one or more of the above categories,

Nominations are open to the public now and close on 31
March 2009. Voting in all categories will commence in April and will be
available via the aduki website. Voting closes midnight on 22 May 2009 with
winners to be announced on 1 June 2009. The winners will receive a trophy of
recognition from aduki independent press and be profiled on aduki online. Sign
up for the aduki e-newsletter on the left hand side of the page to stay
informed when voting opens.
