Chris and I went along to the recent Sustainable Living Festival in Melbourne as we were presenting a workshop for Green Renters. Whilst we were there we had a bit of an opportunity to pop along to the different stalls and chat to people albieit briefly, as it was very hot and protection from the sun was very minimal. At the Vegetarian Network Victoria stall, Meg from Vegan Revolution kindly gave me a sample of their Natural Mineral Clay Mud Mask. Vegan Revolution sell a variety of products including natural mineral make up, books and also offer workshops and demonstrations on healthy raw food preparation. They operate according to an ethos of reducing negative environmental impacts, evidenced by the fact they transport their stall wares to and from their market stalls in a cargo bike to reduce carbon emissions.

Enamore Gracie DressMelbourne's best shopping strip must surely be the tiny group of shops sharing the corner of Albert Street and Sydney Road in Brunswick. Joining the much-loved Radical Grocery, Scavengers, Brunswick Bound and Green Fields Restaurant is a new concept fashion store, Woods & Fields, which opened in March.
